Configuring SAML for Zendesk

REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL

Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up

Zendesk: Plus or Enterprise plan

In Bitium:

  1. Go to “Manage Apps.”

  2. Select “Zendesk” from the list of installed apps.

  3. Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.

  4. From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”

    Select SAML Authentication

Leave your Bitium window open.

In Zendesk:

You will cut and paste the appropriate data provided by Bitium (see image above) into the corresponding fields in Zendesk.

Get confirmation from Zendesk that SAML configuration is complete.

In Bitium:

Go back to the Single Sign-On tab for Zendesk and click the “Save Changes” button.

SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
