Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up
Yammer: Enterprise accounts only; must be an Office 365 Admin to set up
Go to “Manage Apps.”
Select “Yammer” from the list of installed apps.
Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.
From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”
While still logged into Bitium, go to the Metadata URL on the Single Sign-On page.
Once the Metadata loads, click Save Page As in your browser and save the complete Metadata file (some browsers may give you the option to only download the HTML) This is the file you will be sending to Yammer to enable SAML.
Log into your Microsoft 365 account and click here to submit a new support request.
Select the options shown below to ensure your request is directed to the correct Microsoft Support Staff, and then click next.
Submit the details of your request as indicated below.
A Yammer Support Engineer will reach out to you to help enable SAML as an SSO soon after your request is sent. The Engineer will provide you a link to the Yammer SSO Implementation Guide
Please provide the Support Engineer the Metadata file you saved from Bitium and read through the Implementation Guide.
Yammer will test the Metadata file and will then reach out to schedule a time to test the final integration.
Once testing is complete, SAML for Yammer will be enabled.
Switch to SAML Authentication on the Single Sign-On tab and click the “Save Changes” button.
SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
