Configuring SAML for Slack
REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL
Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up
Slack: Premium account required
Go to “Manage Apps.”
Select “Slack” from the list of installed apps.
Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.
From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”
Leave your Bitium window open.
As a Slack admin, login to to Team Settings> SAML Authentication> Configure> Custom SAML 2.0
Fill in the “SAML 2.0 Endpoint” field with the value from the “Login URL” found in Bitium via the steps above.
Leave the optional “Identity Provider Issuer” field blank.
Fill in the “Public Certificate” field with the certificate found under the Single Sign-On tab in Bitium.
Click “Save Configuration.”
Go back to the Single Sign-On tab for Slack and click the “Save Changes” button.
SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
