Configuring SAML for Jitbit

REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL

Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up

Jitbit: Must be an admin to set up

In Bitium:

  1. Go to “Manage Apps.”

  2. Select “Jitbit” from the list of installed apps.

  3. Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.

  4. From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”

Leave your Bitium window open and continue in a new tab.

In Jitbit:

  1. Login to your Jitbit admin account and click on “Administration” in the top menu bar.
  2. Click on “General Settings” under the “General Settings” section. (the url should be https://{subdomain}.jitbit.com/helpdesk/AdminSettings.aspx)
  3. Under “Authentication Settings”, select “Enable SAML 2.0 single sign” on checkbox.

In Bitium & Jitbit:

Enter appropriate information in Jitbit settings

  1. Fill the “Endpoint URL” field with the Login URL copied from Bitium.
  2. Fill in the “X.509 Certificate” field with the X.509 Certificate from Bitium.
  3. Click “Save Changes” in Jitbit.
  4. Click “Save Changes” in Bitium.
Jitbit One supports JIT Provisioning. This makes it possible to create new user accounts in Jitbit simply by assigning the application to a user in your Bitium organization.
SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
