Configuring SAML for Grovo

REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL

Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up

Grovo: Enterprise accounts only; must be an admin to set up

In Bitium:

  1. Go to “Manage Apps.”

  2. Select “Grovo” from the list of installed apps.

  3. Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.

  4. From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”

  5. Download the Metadata XML from Bitium. (Email this over to your contact at Grovo, and ask for SSO to be enabled for your account. Ask them to send you your Unique Company Identifier or Slug.)

  6. When Grovo completes the connection, copy over the Unique Company Identifier into the Unique Company Identifier field in Bitium.

  7. Click “Save.”

Testing (SP Initiated Login)

  1. Assign yourself or an appropriate user to the Grovo app in Bitium.
  2. In a fresh window or browser not logged into Grovo or Bitium, navigate to https://www.grovo.com/sso/auth/{your-company-identifier}.
  3. You should be redirected to a Bitium login page. Sign into this.
  4. After signing in, you should be authenticated into your Grovo organization.

Testing (IDP Initiated Login)

  1. Log out of Grovo.
  2. From the Bitium Dashboard, click on the Grovo app.
  3. You should be authenticated into the app.
  4. Note: JIT provisioning is supported by Grovo.
