Configuring SAML for Elastica
REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL
Bitium: All account levels; must be an admin to set up
Elastica: Must be an admin to set up
Go to “Manage Apps.”
Select “Elastica” from the list of installed apps.
Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.
From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”
In a different browser tab, login to Elastica at https://app.elastica.net.
Go to your Elastica settings page by clicking on your name in the top right hand corner of the app. From there click “Settings.”
Click “Download Metadata XML” from the Bitium tab and save it somewhere easily accessible.
Click “Change Provider.”
Go back to your Elastica settings page and click “Single Sign-on.”
Select “Bitium” from the dropdown menu.
Click “Click here to choose file to upload.” From there, locate the XML file you just downloaded from Bitium and upload it to Elastica by clicking “Configure.”
Go back to Bitium and click “Assign Users” located at the top right hand corner of the Elastica settings page (you should still be on this page).
Assign the contact email you use to sign in to Elastica and then click “Done.”
SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
