Configuring SAML for Asana
REQUIRED ACCOUNT/PERMISSION LEVEL
Bitium: All account levels; must be an Admin to set up
Asana: Premium Organization; must be an Admin to set up
Go to “Manage Apps.”
Select “Asana” from the list of installed apps.
Select the “Single Sign-On” tab.
From the dropdown, select “SAML Authentication.”
Copy the Login URL, and X.509 Certificate from Bitium.
Log into Asana and navigate into your Organization Settings.
Click on the “Administration” tab.
Click on the radio button that says Members must log in via SAML. Click Edit Settings.
Paste the Login URL copied from Bitium in Step 5 into the Sign-in page URL field in Asana.
Paste the X.509 Certificate copied from Bitium in Step 5 into the X.509 Certificate field in Asana.
Click “Save” in Asana.
Go back to the Single Sign-On tab for Asana and click the “Save Changes” button.
SAML Enabled will be illuminated in green once completed.
