Configuring Bitium RADIUS Proxy

Bitium’s new RADIUS Proxy allows organizations to connect network infrastructure such as VPNs that support RADIUS to Bitium’s IDaaS.

The RADIUS Proxy offers several benefits including:

  • Secure connection to Bitium for RADIUS messages.
  • Simple installation and remote management.

Install Instructions

  1. In the Administration section, Click “Security” and click on the “RADIUS” option.

  2. On the next page, click the “Download RADIUS Proxy” button.

  3. On the next page, choose the correct operating system for the server where you will be installing the RADIUS Proxy. Click “Download”.

  4. On the next page, your download will begin. If it does not download to your machine, click “restart the download”.

  5. With the file downloaded, it is time to get the RADIUS Proxy running. Open up the exe file in your Downloads folder and double click it.

  6. Proceed with the Setup Wizard till you get to the Finish page. Click “Finish”. The RADIUS Proxy is now running in the background on your machine (as it should). On the next step we will authorize it to work with your Bitium account.

  7. On the same computer where the agent is running, open a web browser and visit http://localhost:9090 to see the “Welcome to Bitium RADIUS Proxy” screen. Enter your email address on Bitium, and click “Next”.

  8. On the next page, choose your organization from the available options and click “Submit”.

  9. After clicking “Submit”, you will be redirected to a page asking you to authorize the agent to your Bitium account. Click “Approve”.

  10. If all went well, you will receive a message saying “RADIUS Proxy Authorized”. If you do not see this please contact support@bitium.com, and we will get you fixed up.
